Deepika Padukoen vs Sonam Kapoor: Who will Win Rabir Kapoor?

Saawariya and Om Shanti Om, two big banner Diwali movies are now facing strong challenge from each other ahead of their release on the same day. Both the movies will hit the screens on 9 November 2007. Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor will make their Bollywood debut with the movie Saawariya. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie is based on an eternal love story placed in a fantasy world. Om Shanti Om will also come up with a model turned actress Deepika Padukone who will make her debut with this movie. Deepika Padukone plays the female lead role of the movie whereas Shah Rukh Khan plays the male lead character of Om Shanti Om.

Moreover, there are some other things that will make you realize that how much competition is there between the two movies. Both the movies have been produced by two big production houses. Om Shanti Om is being produced by Red Chillies Entertainment owned by Shah Rukh Khan who has fame for his promotional skill. On the other hand, Saawariya is making from a Hollywood production house Sony Pictures. This is the first time, a Bollywood movie is going to be released from a Hollywood production house. So, you can understand that both the movies are strong enough to make it big in the box office.
