slumdog millionaire
is the best film of 2008. jay has been resisting the buzz around it. the advertised premises of the movie – “a poor kid gets rich” and “it’s about love, not the money” – sound sacherine.

For the first time in many weeks Helena and I watched a movie together. Like a real long movie with a budget behind it. Not Youtube or a vacation super 8 film or anything like that. Just a plain normal movie in colour with sound. In the hotel here in London we saw Slumdog Millionaire. A really good movie which I recommend to anyone that hasn´t seen it. If you´ve already seen it it´s not the same I believe, but I really don´t know now do I just called to say I love you.

Kambakth Ishq Photo shoot
Kambakth Ishq has two of the most successful Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. And the star power doesn’t stop here. It also has Hollywood actors Sylvester Stallone and Denise Richards featuring in all the promo pics doing the rounds and it looks like they have more than a fleeting appearance.Kareena Kapoor plays a super model while Akshay is a stuntman in Hollywood. Their paths cross but both can’t stand each other and there are verbal duels some which have irked women’s organisations. Akshay calls Kareena a bitch and says that women are good for only one thing. Whether it is cut, beeped out or stays, remains to be seen.
The producer Sajid Nadiadwala has mentioned that a large part of the movie has been shot at Universal Studios.
The movie has been written and directed by Sabir Khan who has some experience as an assistant director for Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya.
