She is a recent entrant in this tinsel town and was first spotted on the silver screen dancing with Hrithik Roshan in ‘KOI MIL GAYA’. Then was her item number with Aftab Shivdasani in the film ‘MUSKAAN’. She has some more projects in hand which are scheduled for release within the next few months. She has appeared in two item songs in the south of India, the movies are ‘7/G BRINDABAN COLONY’and the other song that she has appeared in is the title track of the film ‘PARTY’ directed by Ravibabu. She can be spotted on television ads for companies such as Sansui, Pepsi, Woodland, Palmolive, Timex, Titan and Hero Cycles just to name a few.

Preity Zinta reflects Rekha’s look in ‘The Last Lear’

Her long beautiful tresses, ‘bindi’ on her forehead and cotton saris surely reinvent Preity in the ‘Rekha’ avatar. Director Rituparno Ghosh, who is known for making classic cinema, has designed the Preity’s look keeping in mind Rekha’s look from ‘Silsila’.

Producer Arindam Chaudhuri of ‘Planman’ confessed in one of his interviews that Rituparno is in love with the way Rekha looked in ‘Silsila’ and she wanted a similar get-up for Preity in ‘The Last Lear’.

Whether Rituporno is pleased with Rekha’s reflection in Preity’s look or not, Big B for sure had some sweet memories rekindled of those ‘Silsila’ days!

Kangana Ranaut with her first endorsement

Finally, Kangana Ranaut has bagged her first endorsement project, and that too opposite none other than Salman Khan. Kangana has been chosen by a leading international shoes company Red Tape to endorse their brand of footwear which had been endorsed by Salman Khan so far.

Until now Red Tape manufactured footwear only for men with Salman as their ambassador. Now, the company is launching its female lineup with Kangana, who has already shot spots for hoardings and magazines and will soon be doing a TV ad with Salman Khan for the brand.

Apparently Red Tape has paid Kangana a whopping figure and has promised to enhance the amount by thirty percent in the next financial year. On being questioned about the reason for she being chosen for the brand, Kangana explains, “It was my my casual looks, I guess. The brand isn’t associated with formal shoes. Only sporty footwear, sneakers etc. They want me to endorse their shoes in my jeans and with my curly hair.”

Kangana is very excited about working with Salman, “It’s a good thought. I’m excited about the ad with Salman. I’ve always been his fan. I think he’s the only rock star in our cinema. I had watched him dance at an awards function and thought I’d be paired with him one day. It’s happening sooner than I thought.”

Bollywood stars at ‘Sex and the City’ premiere

The premiere of ‘Sex and the City’ on June 4, 2008, held at PVR, Juhu, Mumbai, witnessed the presence of several Bollywood stars. There was an array of celebs present there, all in groups, to watch the premiere. Among the many present were Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora Khan, Neha Dhupia, Maushmi Udeshi, Shenaz Treasurywala, Simone Singh, Rajat Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon,Karan Johar and so on and so forth.

Well, we have the child of two yesteryear superstars gearing up to step into the glamour world. Talking about Shruti Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan and Sarika, she rocks the covers of the latest issue of ‘Verve’. The issue talks about Shruti, what it is to be a child of two superstars and about her fancy for black nail polish and army jackets.

Shruti does not have just looks, she also writes her own songs, croons, jams with the tabla and piano, and has performed at bigger venues than your mind can ever think, venues as big as Whiskey A Go Go, Hard Rock Café etc… to say the least. Though Shruti does not have any Bollywood project in her hands at present, she is waiting for the right moment to knock at her doors. Rakhi Sawant’s breast implants for free?

Dancer and actress Rakhi Sawant has always been known for her candid confessions. We recently heard that this hour glass figured lady has undergone a breast implant and that too for free!

Sources said that Rakhi had approached renowned Dr. Ashok Gupta in Mumbai for a surgery to implant silicones and increase her breast size from 32” to 36”. “Jo Bhagwaan nahi deta woh doctor deta hai”, states the bindass kudi.

In return to her surgery, this sexy siren had promised to perform at a medical seminar in Jaipur. But a hospital official said that Dr. Gupta not only performed a surgery on Sawant but also paid her a nominal amount for the show.

But why would such a famous doctor do an operation for free? Well, some say that this was done solely because Rakhi was a part of the demonstration in the seminar. Well whatever the truth is, Rakhi Sawant surely has the most tempting body in the business.
