Sonam Kapoor to enter Roshan camp
She made it big after ‘Saawariya’. Anil Kapoor’s pretty daughter is working with Abhishek Bachcan in ‘Delhi 6’ and now the gal is ready for her next big leap. She is being considered by Rakesh Roshan for his next project opposite Hrihtik Roshan.
Apparently, Rakesh was keen to cast Sonam after being impressed by her looks and performance in ‘Saawariya’ and hence he visited her father Anil Kapoor and spoke to him about casting her. Anil was obviously very thrilled and immediately agreed that Sonam be paired opposite Hrithik in Rakesh’s next film.
However, Rakesh has not yet confirmed the news and simply says, “I am still working on the script.â€

Mahima Choudhary confirms her marriage and pregnancy
Mahima Chaudhary, the pretty looking Bollywood actress who could not acquire the stardom she might have craved for, is married and on the verge of delivering a baby. Her hubby is her bro’s best friend, the well known architect, Bobby Mukherjee.
Now when her delivery date is due for the coming week, Mahima tells Delhi Times that “Pregnancy is a beautiful phase. You put on lots of weight. And I must say I look well endowed,†laughs Mahima, adding, “I think all mothers-to-be look most beautiful when they are expecting.â€
Mahima’s sister Aakansha has come down from Florida with her old maternity clothes and her little son’s baby outfits. Akansha says “It’s our custom, we don’t allow the newborn to wear anything new for 15 daysâ€. Mahima adds, “Bobby wants a daughter. So do I. But it’s fine if we are blessed with a son.â€
About the various rumors about her wedding Mahima laughs and says that “Just because I didn’t invite the world for a reception, doesn’t mean I am not married.†Mahima’s is the second wife of Bobby who is a divorced from his first wife. The duo had officially married last year on March 19, in Las Vegas.
Remembering those days the ‘Pardes’ actress asserts that “It was at a hoteliers’ conference in Vegasâ€. “I was making an appearance there and marriage wasn’t part of the plan. I had chopped off my long tresses and had a bob cut and was simply enjoying the holiday and attending the conference.†But the charismatic beauty of Vegas changed the whole situation. And Mahima called her sister and a few friends over for the wedding. “At a function on March 19, amongst about 10,000 Indian hoteliers and their families, we got married and nobody had an inkling. I wore a red saree as if I was decked up for the function,†she says. The couple had a registered marriage, and later, on March 23, they got married according to Hindu rites with Mahima dressed up like a Bengali bride. Having been born and brought up in Kolkata, Mahima speaks fluent Bengali but does not know how to cook Bengali food. “I am a vegetarian and he is a pucca Bengali fishitarian,†says Mahima.
Mahima and Bobby will soon shift to their new house in Mumbai.

Mehr Jesia Rampal: A walk through time
After years of self-imposed exile from fashion, India’s very first supermodel, Mehr Jesia Rampal, 37, staged a comeback to help Saif Ali Khan take his first steps on the ramp for Provogue recently. The occasion was the showcase of Provogue’s Summer Spring Collection with brand ambassadors Saif Ali Khan, Esha Deol and Upen Patel walking the ramp along with top models Aditya Bal, Candice Pinto, Carol Gracious and several others. This was for the first time Saif walked the ramp and was at his stylish best. Here is Mehr answer to some questions
Q: So it took Saif to draw you out of your sabbatical?
A: I got to know Saif when he and my husband were part of a world tour. I could not say no when Provogue approached me.
Q: Any plans to return to the ramp?
A: That’s over for me. Catwalking has become robotic with no input from models.
Q: How’s the film producer stint going?
A: After, ‘I see You’, our production company, Chasing Ganesha, will start work on the next film in 2008.

Sambhavna Seth wallpapers
Sambhavna Seth is known for her item numbers. She has at least two dozen item numbers in Bhojpuri films and also has a special appearance for an item number in Sunny Deol’s forthcoming film ‘Kaafila’. Seth is the same to Bhojpuri films as legendry Helen was to Bollywood films.
However, Sambhavna has reservations about the word, ‘Item Number’. She says that she loves dancing and has no qualms about being called a dancer. But, ‘Item’ word has a very cheap meaning in Bollwood. She says, “Dance is dance. Why add the word item to it?â€

Second season of ‘10 Ka Dum’ to start along Salman Khan
On following Sunday, it would be second innings for the quiz show “10 Ka Dum” as this time there is more expectation from Salman Khan, who really made its first season a big hit. The quiz show once again is set for winning prize of Rs. 10 crore. The show suitable for a family viewing had one of the highest TRPs in Indian Television history. On the first episode of second season on coming Saturday it is Kareena and Karisma Kapoor who are participating in it.

Shiney Ahuja case - Police reports confirm rape
Shiney Ahuja’s controversial rape case has taken everyone by shock. An additional key to the unsolved mystery is that according to the police reports on Monday, the DNA test reports have confirmed Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja had raped his domestic maid even as he moved a court for bail. The victim is from Roha in Raigad district and her medical examination shows injury in private parts and also the blood and urine samples of Ahuja said that he was not under alcohol or drugs when he committed the crime.
According to the Additional Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta, “The DNA report has confirmed rape of the victim. The report has corroborated the allegations in the FIR that the actor had raped his domestic help.”
After the remand from court on rape charges on June 14, the actor is lodged in Arthur Road central jail in Mumbai. Shiney has moved a sessions court for bail contending he was not required for interrogation and all tests have concluded.
The medical report of Ahuja had also shown an abrasion on his hand and the reports of the forensic tests of the nail samples of the victim is pending.
