Ayesha Takia’s Special Screening
Bollywood Actress Ayesha Takia is on cloud nine, what with her forthcoming film getting much appreciation. We hear that Ayesha Takia recently held a speacial screening of this film, and it was indeed an event to remember. Ameesha on the covers of MW
Ameesha is really bent on making her career revive the same vitality and vigour as it had when she gave the superhits like ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ and ‘Gadar-Ek Prem Katha’. First she shed her baby doll image and transformed into a glam doll avatar for ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’. Then she was seen as a chic on the covers of seventeen, as a coy bride on the covers of ‘Verve’ and now you have Ameesha oozing sensuality on the covers of the latest issue of ‘MW’.
The issue has Ameesha speak all about herself including her self-assessment in which she says, “My versatility is my USP. Preity Zinta and Shiney Ahuja together for the first time
Director Jahnu Baruah (of Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara fame) is launching his next project ‘Har Pal’ which will bring together the pair of Shiney Ahuja and Preity Zinta for the first time. The film will be shot in the homeground of the director – Shillong.
Preity Zinta and Shiney Ahuja will be part of the 20 day Shillong shoot. Apart from the North Eastern hill station, the film will also be shot in Mumbai and Kolkata. Actress Dipannita Sharma and Big B will also make an appearance in the film.

Bollywood babes filling their pockets for a new-year performance
New Year’s eve happens to be a big time event for everyone- for the urban crowd who gets to do some hip-shaking with the view of his or hers favorite Bollywood star’s performance and for the Bollywood babes who pocket in a lucrative sum for a few minutes performance. Take a look at this:
Dusky beauty Bipasha Basu (who is making a new year performance for the first time this year) is reportedly charging Rs. 90 Lakhs for her performance at J.W.Mariott, Juhu.
The Drama Queen Rakhi Sawant alongwith her boyfriend, Abhishek Awasthi, and DJ Whosane will also be performing on New Year’s Eve at Tulip Star Hotel, Juhu. Rakhi is reported to have charged the organizers a whopping Rs. 51 lakhs for her performance.
Next in the queue are Koena Mitra and Tanushree Dutta, who will be joined along with the songster Mika in Sahara Star, Mumbai. Koena is supposedly charging the organizers Rs 27 lakhs for her 16 minute performance whereas Tanushree Dutta has been signed for Rs 15 lakhs for her 24 minutes performance.
There are other celebs too performing at different cities and charging as per their popularity. Amrita Arora (performing in Bangalore) is charging 12 lakhs, Malaika Arora (performing in Delhi) is charging 25-30 lakhs, Neha Dhupia (performing in Ahmedabad) is charging 15-20 lakhs, and Mahima Choudhary (performing in Kolkatta) is charging 5 lakhs.
With the start being this, the year will definitely bring further surprises for these Bollywood bombshells!

Tanushree Dutta loves doing item songs
She came into the industry and created quiet a dhamaka with her tiltillating portrayals and ofcourse,the long line-up of controversies.After that,we’ve onle seen this bombshell shaking her booty onscreen.But Tanushree Dutta is one who never says never specially when it comes to item songs. Ask her if she’ll continue to do them and she says, “item numbers give me more hit songs to dance on for my shows.If these are offered to me by good filmmakers, I’ve no reason to say no.” how we love this the ‘no double standards attitude’!
Dhoom, for all the wrong reasons
Aishwarya rai’s look in dhoom 2 is the talk of the town. Only british model Keeley Hazell has beaten her to it. There are some weeks to go before the release of Dhoom 2 but the much awaited film is hitting the healines, this time for the wrong reasons. One of the highlights of the Ash-Hrithik-abhishek-bipasha starrer is the slick styling, with producer Aditya Chopra insisting on his heroines toning up and bronze sheen for Hrithik’s Character.
So it was a big surprise when we atumbled upon popular UK model Keeley Hazell, featured in her official calender, in a turquoise bikini. On a closer look, the aqua bikini that Hazell fills in turned out to be the exact replica of what Aishwarya is seen wearing for the promos in Dhoom 2. Only in this case, Aishwarya’s cleavage is suitably covered to suit Indian sensibilities and she is also wearing a frilly white skirt. Aishwarya has been garnering a lot of attention for her fab new look for the film, and needless to say, the blue bikini has an important role to play in the promos scorching both the big and small screens. The look has been put together by stylist Anahita Shroff Adajania.
“I am a stylist and nor a fashion designer. I can either shop for outfits that help the star to get the right look or I can get them stiched. I got Ash’s outfit from a high fashion brand in Rio, Brazil, where we were shooting for Dhoom 2, The character needed something chic yet with a very calculated casual look, so i thought this was perfect. We are not copying; we just sourced what the chracter demanded. All the clothes in Dhoom 2 have been sourced from various countries from around the world and some have also been made by a few of our Indian designers,” says Adajania. Shahrukh Khan’s Birthday and turns 41 today
He is here, there and everywhere, doing everything possible with his unbounded energy. Yet, Bollywood’s baadshah Shah Rukh Khan, who has turned 41 today, is dissatisfied. “I work about 18 hours a day, but that’s not enough. If I had the power to change anything. I would add a few more extra hours in a day. I truely want more time,” says Shah Rukh. He has delayed his trip to australia because he wants to spend his birthday with family and friends. There’s a grand celebration happening planned by his friends.
“Nothing special about turning 41,” he smiles. “It’s just one more year added to 40. But yes, it looks like it was only yesterday that i was 40…God! Time flies so fast, you don’t even realise…” he trails off. However, he adds that nothing majot has changed his life. “Unlike last year, when I was tied down because of my back problems, this year I am felling much better.
