Samsung's 8 megapixel Innovate Mobile


Samsung finally launches its much hyped mobile phone called innov8 or I8510 which will be globe-trekking from August. Taking mobile handset photography and multimedia experience to greater heights, the innov8 offers surround-sound cinematic video, amazing mobile Internet browsing as well as mobile gaming capabilities.

Sporting Samsung’s first ever 8-megapixel camera with blink shot, smile shot and face recognition, the innov8 lets you capture and store all your precious memories in style.

The innov8 phone runs on Symbian OS V9.3, S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 and equips A GPS technology for navigation and geo-tagging services. It features a crystal clear 2.8” 16M color LCD, 8 GB or 16 GB Flash memory, external memory slot up to 16 GB, an optical mouse, 4-way navigation key, WiFi and HSDPA connectivity, external dual speakers, 3D surround sound supported by DNSe 2.0 and a 1200mAh battery. It supports DivX, WMV, Real Player and MPEG4 video formats.

Samsung allows you to use the innov8 phone as a digital photo frame. You can personalize or edit your photos, videos and music with applications such as Movie Maker and Story Board. It packs in most famous games like Asphalt and FIFA 08. It has been chosen as the official phone for the World Cyber Games 2008.

Samsung innov8 phone will hit the European markets in August while it will make its way to other markets during September.

Shutterbugs will be delighted with Samsung M8800 Pixon, which boats of an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LEd falsh, image stabilisation, geo tagging, face and smile recognition.
Fitted with 3.2 inch touch screen LCD(240X400 pixels, 256K colors), the 3G device supports microSD cards of up to 16Gb size. Other features include secondary video call camera, myriad audio and video format support, and a battery that claims over three and a half hours os talk time.
