SRK and his 20 million pounds apartment in London

SRK had once stated that London is one of his favorite cities in the world and he also makes it a point to visit London every year to spend a holiday with his family. Also, it was in this city that SRK was honored with a doctorate. Now, there is another link of SRK with London. The reigning star of Bollywood has purchased a luxurious apartment worth 20 million pounds in the Park Lane area of Central London.

Everytime SRK visited London with family he had to stay in a hotel. So, he had been planning to buy an apartment here for quite sometime. He and wife Gauri looked at several choices before they zeroed on this particular place, but because of its high price, they took sometime in giving their final nod.

A source says, “It is a known fact that the King Khan likes to visit London every year for vacation with his family. He generally stays in the best of the hotels on his visits there, but for past few months he was eyeing an apartment in London’s plush area for himself, so that he doesn’t have to stay in hotels every time. After going through many choices both him and wife Gauri ended up liking this particular place. But given its very high cost they took some while to take the final decision. Finally as he went there this time with his kids, even they liked the place a lot and he there and then decided to lock it forever.”

SRK already owns quite a few houses around the world, but with this one he becomes the first Bollywood star to own such a costly property in a foreign location.
