The world was their stage literally. Coming from places as diverse as Nagaland and New Jersey, the 25 finalists of Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2007 walked down the ramp with confidence and answered with ease. The judges- Rohit Bal, Subhash Ghai, Rathi Vinay Jha, Malvindar Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Madhur Bhandarkar, Adnan Sami and Ujwala Raut- had a tough time choosing the winners.
Pooja Gupta of New Delhi bagged the Miss India Universe title. Sarah Jane Dias of Mumbai won the Miss India World title and the third winner was Pooja Chitgopekar, a doctor from New Zealand.
The show had former Miss World Lara Dutta sizzle to a medley of songs from ‘Laila Mein Laila’ to ‘Kajra Re’.
